Zig Ziglar was a motivational speaker, author, and business consultant who influenced millions of people around the world with his work. Throughout his life, Zig delivered messages of motivation & leadership, and encouraged urging people to live a life free of fear and disappointment. His motivational talks and self-help books have helped millions of people in their career path. With all due respect to his contribution to society, I would like to add more context to the idea of “winner” and complete this saying.
Winner does not exist without a loser. That does not happen in reality. And if the winner and loser are existing together, that is not coexistence. The idea of one person being better (winner) than another person (loser) is a wrong analogy resulting from the false idea competition prevalent in the society. This idea is violent and against the actual reality of harmonious coexistence. Every human being is born with the same potential and is here to serve the same purpose ― finding fulfillment in life. Nothing in nature teaches us to be competitive. Nature is the epitome of interdependent elements existing in complete harmony and coexistence. The nature of existence is coexistence and not competition.
